After two months, here I go!

Today I finally decided to install the NVIDIA driver on my laptop.
All these months I've been used the Debian default driver, but sometimes some videos plays slow, so I though the cause is the standard version (unfortunately not).
Every geek around the world knows that use the correct video driver makes all difference on the computer performance.
My laptop has a NVIDIA GEForce 8400M GS graphics card, a good card... But let's talk about business!

1 - Download the driver (it's the most important step).

2 - Restart your computer, on GRUB (I just can write about GRUB, I don't have any experience using another boot system), press "e" key, you will find the kernel line (linux /boot/vmlinuz.....), and add "1" (without quotes), press ctrl+X, you wil boot in text mode.

3 - Type root password.

4 - Change to the NVIDIA directory.

5 - Type # sh NVIDIA.......

Follow the instructions...

P.S.:
1 - Read all the PS!!!!
2 - It's really necessary to unable Nouveau driver... There is an important detail on it... Once disabled, you just cannot use X Server (Linux UI), if you try to turn on your PC normally, you WILL get a Kernel panic.
3 - NVIDIA installer will ask you to boot with runlevel 3 instead 1, I just can't run the installation on runlevel 3.
4 - Before start, I updated everything on my laptop using  "apt-get upgrade", so my GCC is newer than the installation program. The installation program warn that something could go wrong, in my case, everything is fine.

I think it's my poor post wrote in english... If you have any doubt, write a comment.

See ya!
